| The tradition horizontal method of storing valuable plans
has stood the test of time. Planex combines a tradition of
high-quality steel manufacture with innovative design and
finish in the Planex Horizontal Plan Cabinet. |
| DESIGN |
The cabinet is designed to achieve an optimum storage solution
in the most flexible manner possible. Each slimline drawer
takes up exactly half the space required by the deeper drawer,
so that mixed slim/deep drawer combinations are possible.
Rather than having the traditional handles, the drawers have
a stylish full-width anodised aluminium handle with provision
for indexing*. A range of fashion colours are available.
* Excluding the HA model where the handle forms
an integral part of the drawer. |
| STRENGTH |
| Cabinets are fully welded, not riveted together, providing
strength and stability. The drawers glide effortlessly on
ball-bearings in formed 1.6mm channgels, and run true and
will not sag even when loaded. |
| QUALITY |
| Cabinets are fully phosphated prior to powdercoating. This
surface preparation provides a superior finish and excellent
corrosion resistance (the present system conforms to the 400
hours neutral salt spray test). |
| SPECIAL FEATURES |
- Full-width sheet metal return at rear of drawer prevents
plans from being damaged or curling
- Chromed steel paper clamps keep all plans flat
- Range of magnetic drawer dividers enable smaller format
drawings to be filed in standard drawers
- Cabinets may be stacked two high
- Optional stand available for freestanding unit

| Standard colours are APO Grey, Silver Grey, Beige, Magnolia,
White and Sandstone. Other designer colours available at a
surcharge. |
