Construction

Features: Knobs on front of cabinet door for temporary plan storage, fitted with torsion bar to prevent lid slamming shut, provision for A5 card index system on inside of lid, automatic retractable stabilising feet activated by door movement, low level latches allowing for easier filing and retrieval of drawings (all units).

Colours: available in over 100 colours and finishes as standard.

Finish: high performance, inert powdercoat finish, including iron phosphate pre-treatment.

Accessories: need to be ordered separately.

Capacity: up to 1200 drawings or tracings.

Dimensions

Vertical plan storage cabinets provide a means of safely storing a large number of plans using minimal floor space. Cabinets to suit paper sizes from A1 to BO.

Vertical plan storage cabinets are used to store single sheet tracings and paper plans. Drawings need to be attached to a suspension strip which has holes in it that suspend the drawings on cabinet fingers.

Suspension strips and indexing dividers come in a wide range of materials available separately from Plan Storage.

Depth of cabinets - At base 395mm, at lid 440mm

*The height of the MD, MCD cabinet makes standard stabilisers ineffective. It is essential that a stabilising platform (step) be fitted or the cabinet secured to a wall or similar.

	Suspension Strips Adhesive polyester plan hanging strips available in various lengths and thicknesses.
	Art Bags Art bags are ideal for the protection of important documents. They are strong polythene bags available in 100 micron thickness, and have either top or side openings.

Our cabinets are built using third party certied management systems that satisfy the requirements of ISO14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO9001 (Quality Management System).

These systems help us to minimise the harmful effects on the environment caused by our manufacturing activities and to achieve continual improvement of our environmental performance and product quality.

Recycled Materials

The amount of recycled content of materials used in the manufacture of Plan Storage units ranges from: Steel up to 20% recycled content (ref. Bluescope Steel)

Powder coatings contain up to 5% recycled material (reference Dulux Australia). Additionally, within the Plan Storage plant a significant amount (15-20%) of powder is recovered from the spray booths and is either blended with virgin powder or used as recycled powder for the painting of less critical surfaces such as inside panels and shelves.

5 Year Warranty

Plan Storage undertakes to replace or repair any component found to be faulty in material or workmanship within a period of five years from the date of manufacture.
